AT HOME LEARNING

Good Afternoon Parents,

I hope this letter finds all families safe and healthy.

Students should complete the attached work and the assignments listed in the schedule. The listed assignments will be posted on the class website. Students should complete the pages assigned in the packet. There will be quite a few extra activities in the packet that parents can have students complete in addition to the assigned work.

Please have your child also work on the assigned online skills daily.

Students already know all of their login information. If your child cannot recall his/her logins, please refer to the set of logins that I sent home at the beginning of the year in the Ziploc baggie. Email me if you no longer have the baggie of logins. The only difference will be eSpark. Students normally log in only at school. eSpark will be made available at home for these two weeks and I will be sending home login instructions.

During these two weeks, I will be finishing up grading work from this past week, so please consistently check Aspen Parent Portal and have your child make up any missing assignments. Email me if you have any questions. Make sure you have your username and password for Aspen.

Students should continue to work on their Reading Logs. They won’t be due until we return to school. Students should still have 10 books with genres. Students have genre sheets to help them complete their genre information.  I have also included additional genre sheets in the packet. This is the link to the genre sheets if your child did not come to school to get the packet.

Week 1 will be posted below and on the website. The assignments for Week 2 will be posted by March 22.

Students have their own copy of this letter with assignments. Students may also work in their Chapter 7 Math books independently because this was the Chapter that we skipped. Finally there are a multitude of Extra Practice Worksheets in Reading & Math on the website.
